“Get Off My Bus” Tip #9

Filed under: Look in the Mirror,Making Decisions,Motivation,Take Control — Robin Sacks...Speaker, Author, Motivator @ 9:23 am

Good morning friends! It is both the 9th day of March and time for your next “Get Off My Bus” tip!

Tip #9…DO THIS TODAY:

Get out of your own way!

Want to change your life today? Stop telling yourself you cannot do it. Wow, is that simple or what?! But, it is true. If you step off of the proverbial hamster-wheel of life for just a couple of minutes and take a look, you will see something extraordinary. The vast majority of the time, YOU are your own worst enemy when it comes to moving forward. You cannot change the past, nor can you predict the future. Right? So, ask yourself this question…where do you spend the majority of your time? If your answer is anything other than “the present,” you are standing in your own path holding up a big stop sign. Stop blaming everyone else for your lack of progress. You are in so much more control than you think!

Here is the bottom line…you can wait for something to happen or you can make something happen. There are no other options. The choice is yours. Are you choosing wisely? Find the things that have MEANING to you, actively seek them out, and you will change your life. Be “in the now” as often as possible. It is the only place where you have the ability to make something happen.

British prime minister and author Benjamin Disraeli said, “Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.”

When we are real, we thrive.

Until tomorrow…Get Clarity, Get Moving, and Get Results at www.robinjsacks.com.
