“Get Off My Bus” Tip #7

Filed under: Look in the Mirror,Making Decisions,Stress Management — Robin Sacks...Speaker, Author, Motivator @ 9:04 am

We are one week in to March…already! Off and running! Let’s get right to the point and start this Monday off on some solid footing.

We have talked about how you “tune-out” in a tuned-in world and the importance of ridding your mind of the minutia that causes much of your stress. NOW, let’s talk about how to “tune-in” to the things that continue to lessen that stress and create a bit more, shall we say, serenity in your day.

Tip #7…DO THIS TODAY:

Put things in perspective. Everyday, you pass an accident on the side of the road, or you hear a helicopter and look up to see Life Flight, or you hear about someone you know of or care about receiving challenging news, such as a death or layoff or illness. Life happens. Be in the moment. Be grateful. Be happy. It might seem trite, but many people are having a much worse day than you are having. When you choose to take a moment to put things in perspective, often it makes you realize that what you are dealing with at this moment is able to be dealt with by you right here and right now. Then, you can move on without adding more baggage to your day.

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change” – Dr. Wayne Dyer –

Until tomorrow…
